Do you know what intellectual property is? Did you know there’s a way to protect your work and creativity?
The workshop, led by a researcher and expert lecturer in Intellectual Property Rights, aims to provide artisans, designers, and artists with essential knowledge on how to protect their creations in a practical way.
Participants will gain the necessary tools to understand and safeguard their intellectual property.
The workshop will cover the following topics:

  • An introduction to the different types of intellectual property rights (IPR) available in the European Union, including copyright, design rights, trademarks, patents, geographical indications, and utility model protection.
  • Strategies for protecting creative works, with a special focus on rights that do not require formal registration or significant financial investments, such as copyright, design rights, and trademarks.
  • Concrete case studies from the EU will be presented, highlighting the common challenges faced by the creative community.

Participants will be invited to share their own experiences and deepen their understanding of intellectual property law.

The final Q&A session will provide an opportunity to address specific doubts and questions.
