On June 28, a noteworthy workshop on handicrafts took place at the Palazzo Sturm Museum in Bassano del Grappa, organised by the Department of Management of the Ca' Foscari University of Venice in cooperation with the Copenhagen Business School and the Bassano del Grappa Municipality.

Two challenging and wonderful days of the Horizon Europe project Hephaestus kick off marks the dawn of a new chapter for both the consortium partners and the talented craft makers in Europe.

On the 26th and the 27th of May 2023, “Heritage in EuroPe: new tecHnologies in crAft for prEServing and innovaTing fUtureS - HEPHAESTUS”, a four-year project funded by the European Commission (Horizon Europe Research and innovation on cultural heritage and CCIs).

The workshop will focus on developing sustainable business models for the craft industry through the use of digital technologies for social innovation, crafting visions for the future of crafts in a circular economy, and enhancing organizational and entrepreneurial skills, as well as soft skills and cultural awareness for traditional craft-makers.
